The New Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV)

The new Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV) is intended to strengthen the waste hierarchy. In other words, the exploitation of materials has precedence over exploitation for power-generation purposes. It defines new documentation tasks and specialist examinations for operational practice. Applicability: it is applicable to commercial estate waste and certain construction and demolition waste types. It is aimed at producers and owners of waste, as well as preparation and processing plant operators.
